"One of the most impactful books I’ve ever read is 'The Four Agreements' by Don Miguel Ruiz. This book profoundly transformed my mindset, guiding me toward a more positive outlook during a challenging period in my life. After rereading my well-worn copy countless times, I decided to incorporate its pages into my artwork—using them as the foundation for a canvas that became my first exploration into mixed media. I like to believe that each time I create a book-backed piece with pages from this book, the positivity and wisdom within its words radiate through the final work. And for those concerned about the integrity of the book itself, I have a personal rule: I must re-read it once more before repurposing its pages for a new painting.
